Hello everyone reading this blog,
My name is Jamie Ham and I am one of the leaders for the Central America Expedition Passport trip. I am super stoked to have the blessing to be a leader for this trip. This is something I never really planned (by the way, never say never to God), but God has shown me blessings through it already and I can’t wait to see what more He does through the next 4 months!
Training camp is coming to a close. It has been a great three days. Going through topics such as persona, identity, the Gospel and how to share it effectively, sin versus law and listening to the Lord through prayer. And more than anything else, bonding with our team and beginning to create a family atmosphere that we will cultivate throughout the trip. I know I have learned something this week and have been touched by the Lord and am hoping the same is true for every member of the team.
I am so excited to spend the next four months in Central America with these amazing Ambassadors of Christ. God is going to use them in great ways and help them to grow and expand more into the woman/man of God that God has created them to be. I hope you will read the posts from all team members as to what God is doing for them and using them throughout these next months. I can tell you- it is going to be amazing! Just wait!
Tomorrow we are heading out to our first country of El Salvador. Prayers for safety through travel and arriving in our first ministry site would be greatly appreciated. The team is willing and hungry to serve God and to see what more He has for them. Tomorrow the life-changing adventure begins!
