Hello! My name is Lauren Grunz. I’m 20 years old and I live in Dahlonega Georgia where I go to school at the University of North Georgia. This is my first trip out of the country and I am so excited to see the three beautiful countries we will travel to and meet some of God’s incredible people! And one time, I met Si from Duck Dynasty. I never actually talked to him, but he’s looking straight at the camera in the picture- so that’s pretty cool.
Hola amigos! My name is Cali Castaneda, I’m from Milwaukee Wisconsin, I’m a sophomore at University of Madison where I’m a spanish major with pre-occupational therapy focus. Fun fact about me- I’ve been a vegetarian since the 2nd grade, so thank goodness the Salvadorians love their rice and beans! This is my first mission trip experience and I feel so incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to be here!
Hey everyone I’m Skylar Brethauer. I am from Allendale Michigan and I am 19 years old. Back in May I had graduated from high school. I love to cook and bake and I have been working in a cafe for the past year and a half. I have been on three mission trips to Guatemala. I was going to go back with a team from Adventure in missions, but ended up getting a call saying that the trip was canceled and that I had to choose another trip. I chose the Central America Expedition.

I’m taking the semester off to go on a missions trip that I told God I would never do. I love Jesus, and I’m excited to serve him and the people he places in our way!
Hello friends! My name is Denika Spadafora, I’m 18 years old (the baby of the team) and I’m from Evergreen, Colorado! I graduated high school in May of 2013 and moved to New York City 2 weeks later to study dance at the Broadway Dance Center. After a few months I really felt God calling me to go on a missions trip, so here I am writing to you from El Salvador! I am so excited to see what God has planned for the next three months!
Namaste, sweet readers! I am the team leader for the Central America Expedition 2014 voyage. I am 23 years old, I graduated from Missouri State University in December 2012 with a Bachelors in French and minors in International Management and Business. I launched with the incredible P Squad in January of 2013 and returned from the World Race on December 7th. And now here I am back on on the field with the fine group of ladies you just read about. I never drank Coke before going on the Race, I really like One Direction these days, and no, I’m not sorry about that.
