Hello All!
I am super excited that you are here checking out my blog. This is a place where I will be keeping my Family, Friends, and Supporters updated on what I am doing and what God is showing me. I look forward to sharing this experience with you, all through the incredible invention of internet!
For those of you who don’t know, or perhaps forgot the details of it all, I am going to Central America for 4 months. To some of you 4 months may seem like a mere speck of time in a vast lifetime, or maybe it seems like a huge daunting length. To this girl, it seems perfect. This trip could not have been more ideal. AIM so kindly accepted my application even though I am only 17, the trip starts after my final exams are done, and I will get back in time for my grad and birthday (coincidentally the same day as Mother’s day, what a gift for Mom!). I have never been on a Mission’s trip but this seems like a good time to start.
My team of 7 plus 2 leaders will be heading to El Salvador first. Then we move on to Costa Rica, and finish off with Panama! There is a wide variety of ministry that we will be doing. We could be doing anything from sharing the gospel in schools, to building homes, to doing door to door ministry. I have all my vaccinations, my back pack is full, I am saying my good byes, and it is almost time to head off into the world.
Here are some things you could do to help me out!
1.) Subscribe to my blog. I am new to this whole blogging world, but I am told that having subscribers is a good thing. So fill in those boxes in the top left corner to receive updates each time I blog.
2.) Comment! At the end of this blog there is a place for you to respond. So if you have any questions or want to let me know what you thought of the blog, feel free to write it there. Not a requirement, but an option.
3.) PRAY!!! This one is the most important to me. I have never been to Central America, I don’t speak a lick o’ Spanish, and I am the youngest in my group. I know that with your guy’s prayer, God can use what may seem like weaknesses for great things!
I am having trouble wrapping my head around the fact that it is nearing the time for me to leave my wonderful home and all its luxuries, but it is! Thank you to any of you, who financially supported me, bought a t-shirt, came to bible quiz night, or gave me a word of encouragement. I appreciated every little bit!

Take Care and God Bless.
