Life is crazy and life is busy. It is not uncommon for one of the members of the team to say "Oh Boy, That WAS THIS MORNING!!! IT FEELS LIKE THAT WAS DAYS AGO AHHH!!!!" ; or "OR What did we do this last week!??! AHH I CANT REMEMBER!! Life is like that for us and we all love it!
One of the most humble and beautiful things happened to our group this week. We have been going to a school that is sponsored by Compassion Ministries and each student has a pen pal pouring into their lives. It has become one of our favorite ministry sites. This last Wednesday we walked through classrooms and the kids who remembered us came running with arms stretched wide. We then walked into a second grade classroom and we were asked to sit on the floor as the kids circled around us and prayed for our group. They immediately put their hands on our shoulders and our heads and almost all of them volunteered to pray. These are second grades who lifted their beautiful Spanish voices to ask for blessing on our trip. It was more than cute, It was powerful… and I giggled as a young girl rubbed my greasy unwashed hair throughout the whole prayer.

And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 18: 2-4 ESV)
