There are certain things about myself I would rather not admit. I do a very good job of ignoring soe truths. Exampes would be: I am now a coffee drinker, sometimes I fart, and I am stubborn. (telling y'all that was harder than you might think). But there is one thing that no teenager ever watnes to admit. We will deny it everytime. Until this moment. I am about to break one important teenager rule. I am going to say it…
"Mom and Dad, you were right."
Unfortunately enough, that fact has been made clear to me during my time away from home. The realization as hit me multipe times when their words come back to me at the stragest moments. Much to my surprise their words have even been proven true, and I am now growing to be thankful for all the bis of wisdom they have given me. I feel it necesary to share these words that both my parents and grandparents have passed on to me.
"The only way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time." -Mom
