His Love Never Fails

Just a little background music. Enjoy!

Love.
Love is patient.
Love is kind.
It does not envy.
It does not boast.
It is not proud.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

Although I'm only 18, I've been blessed with the ability to travel. Growing up with two wonderful parents that seek adventure and hidden places has brought my family to a lot of off the map destinations. Yes, I've known love and I've grown up with a great community of love, but it is only in these hidden destinations that I've found true love.  I find love in the big brown eyes of the little girls who do my hair at school. I find love and beauty in the heart of the homeless man who roams the street. I feel love in the air as the whole church lights up with worship music of all different languages. The past couple of weeks we've been traveling to the local nursing home. I'll be honest, before this trip I used to be scared as heck of some old people. Like most people, when I saw them struggling, I would just ignore them and hope that someone else would help them. But God has changed my heart on this trip for my elder brothers and sisters. Although there is a huge age gap and language barrier, we are still able to communicate whether it be through hand signals, very small talk, or just holding hands. Sitting around the dinner table a couple nights ago with a blind and deaf man feeling around for my hand made me realize; God's love is everywhere. The overwhelming love that I received from a man who couldn't see or hear but squeezed my hand while holding his cross flooded me like a storm. After a previous rough day, God used this tender old man in a little old folks home in an ally in the middle of small town San Vicente, El Salvador.

It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, perseveres.
Love never fails.
