Baking its what I do and its what I love! God has giving me a gift for baking and I feel that I can use it any where I go. Just to raise all the money that I had needed for this trip besides writing letters and everything I took full advantage of my baking skills and made different pies, breads, cookies, and more. I am so blessed to have a skill for this because you never know when you might want something sweet or when you can just make something for someone else and just knowing that it might make their day. I have been wanting chocolate chip cookies but not getting a chance to make them is a bummer but I know that later on while I am out here I know that I will have a chance to bake and bring joy to others through my baking. Tonight I had a chance to help one of the inters here at Wired. She came in and had me try a muffin to see what was wrong with it while we were listening to a podcast and journaling. I tried to help her and figure out what was wrong before she left to try it over again. My team leader Dot told me to go see what she needed help with because she knows how much I love to bake but also because its a personal form of worshiping the Lord. Just having the chance to help bake was awesome! We both showed off our techniques and helped each other grow in our baking but also getting to know each other and see where the Lord has brought us. I have always found it cool to hear someone else’s story but getting a chance to tell mine was cool and just seeing how far I have come and grown is awesome.
