please DON’T open the floodgates!

Life here in EL Salvador is beautiful and so much fun! We are living in a nice house and sleeping on beds and we get three awesome meals a day and we having running water AND indoor showers. So by missionary standards we are living pretty posh. Maybe a little too posh. So when our contact told us that the water had unexpectedly bee turned off I couldn't help but smile.
"Yes, " I though " a chance to rough it a little bit will be perfect!" I though we could all stand to get some dirt under our nails and be pushed outside of our comfort zones a little bit.
No sooner had I finished that thought when I felt a heavy rumbling down in the pit of my stomach that could only mean one unfortunate thing.
Oh boy.
This is not good.
A toliet with standing water,
And no way to flush,
And the floodgates about to burst open in the most unwelcome of ways.
Oh boy.

We all know God's timeing is perfect, what I sometimes forget is that his comedic timeing is just as good.
