Wow- May 2nd, 2013… When did this happen? I can't believe it's been almost 4 months since we all left our homes, schools, families, jobs, friends, comforts and lifestyles in order to travel across Central America and serve the Lord.
It's been a process. Some good times and some not so good times, but all the while growing and being challenged in our relationship with the God of the Universe.
How cool is that? We get to serve God. THE ONE AND ONLY GOD. Who created The USA, Canada, England, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Panama. The God who loves all of these people so much more than we could ever imagine or even love them.
God has given us opportunities, experiences and friendships of a lifetime.
We are sad to see it come to end. We have poured out our hearts, minds, blood, sweat, tears, laughter, and energy for the people of Central America.
We have heard God speak to us directly and we have felt the presence of the Holy Spirit.
We now desire more for our lives than the "American/Canadian/British dream".
We are going to go home, share our stories, change lives and continue to live a kingdom lifestyle wherever we are.
Tomorrow is our last day of ministry here in Panama City. Our last day working in the kitchen, cleaning floors, gardening, fixing whatever needs to be fixed and teaching/loving/yelling at kids for 6 hours.
Tomorrow we begin to say our goodbyes to Central America only soon to begin our hellos to Home.
