Intense Beauty

"I can't keep it in, I got to let it out, I've got to show the world, world's got to see, see all the love, love that's in me!"

These are the lyrics that flowed through my earphones as I welcomed the morning with the most incredible view of an estuary in El Salvador!! I immediately picked up my notebook and pen because I can't keep it in!

As our time in El Salvador bittersweetly comes to a close, a reaccuring theme has presented itself: BEAUTY. We haved journeyed to lakes, oceans, estuaries, jungles and waterfalls to name a few; and all have been indescribably beautiful. Standing in the middle of each breathtaking scene, it is impossible not to be dumbfounded in awe by the talent of our Creator. We are privileged to live in a world of imense, endless beauty and I'm filled with love and honor to get to be a part of this fabulous creation.
BUT WAIT!!! That's not even the best part!!

The beautiful relationships and experiences I have been blessed to have in El Salvador even surpass the beauty of the nature we are surrounded by. Between our contact (Pastor Oscar and his wife Jacky), our translator/cook and so much more (Carlos and his girl Yanira), the jovenes (youth) in the church (Sarah, Victor, Giovani, Juan Carlos, Levi etc…), the compassion kids we have laughed and played with,  and the countless people in villages I have been able to spend time with and have precious conversations with; it is clear how beautiful the people of El Salvador are and their passion and zeal for God in their everyday lives is such an admiring model of how I should live my life.

And my beautiful, wonderful team who have given me so much joy and encouragement in the last month. I am sure we will all be life long friends!

So there you have it! El Salvador has been an absolutely beautiful experience. It will be sad to leave in a few days but we still have two countries and three months to go and so much more beauty and experiences to share!!!
